I’m just about the luckiest person around. When I get tired, I just pull my fake legs off and bribe my granddaughter, Sierra, to carry them. Her mom is more than happy to relinquish the job.
The only problem is that Dave takes me seriously, deciding the top half of me should stay in the car and my lower half should go sightseeing.
This happened on the Old Nagasendo Highway, between the restored villages of Magome and Tsumago, a couple of hours outside of Matsumoto, Japan. We were heading to the World Parkinson Congress 2019 in Kyoto, Japan where I gave a keynote address at the Opening Ceremony on Tuesday night.
Great Photo, Linda We love keeping up with you.
I want to hear more? Loved the humor and the photographs.
You have the best sense of humor and are truly a person to be admired!
It’s the humor!! Linda – you are awesome! The pictures start of as being eerie, and then you see the smile on Sierra’s pretty face!
I want to hear more from your trip. You and your whole family are awesome.
Hope to see you soon
Elisabeth
You are unbelievable! So funny!
I didn’t realize that this was also a “working” vacation. Awesome woman! Cannot wait to hear all the details when we get together.
you are an inspiration!
Thank you for making me laugh so early in my morning… great gift.
Now I await the full edition…. your life is so full of love and fun….
you, my friend are awesome……..
Good to hear your great humor again
Linda you’re a kick [sic!], and really knows how to make the best of the situation.
Wow! It seems like yesterday that your daughter was Sierra’s age. There has never been a time when I have thought about you that it has been without pleasure and admiration. You were born to be a teacher of great lessons, a “saver” of lives, a powerhouse of knowledge and understanding and a human of rare and treasured common sense.
Your life lessons have always given us a sense of perspective and a standard by which to measure humor and kindness. It has been 22 years since I left San Diego…it seems like yesterday.
This is too short. Please more next time!!!!
Happy summer. 🙂
It seems I had already written the same thing which is…keep on writing, please.
Have a super summer. 🙂
